If you are looking for drug information in Spanish, search for the name of the drug or the condition the drug treats in English. When you reach the page with specific information and dosage for that drug, click on "Spanish/Español."
If your search is not providing useful results, you may find the following tips helpful.
1. Check for misspellings. Make sure you've typed in the word correctly. Many drug names are difficult to spell, so be sure to copy the name exactly as it's spelled on your prescription bottle.
If you're not sure about the spelling, type in the first few letters of the word, followed by an asterisk (*). For example, typing in hydro* will find "hydrochlorothiazide," "hydroxychloroquine," and "hydroxyurea."
Please note: hydrochlorothiazide is not the same as hydroxychloroquine. Make absolutely sure you're reading the correct drug information.
2. If your search gives you too few results, use more general terms when you search. For example, search for the condition depression instead of the drug Prozac. You can also expand your search by putting or between words. For example, search for depression or antidepressants.
3. If you get too many search results, be more specific. For example, search for Prozac instead of just depression.
